Magellan Metals

 

The Western Australian Government has approved Magellan's proposal for sealed shipments of lead carbonate concentrate through the Port of Fremantle. These shipments will not commence until the Minister for Environment has signed off the company’s key management plans relating to the sealed shipments.  Magellan exported the last of its Esperance lead stockpile in May and is contributing $9 million to the State Government’s clean-up of remaining lead contamination at the port and in the town.
